Goodwill Industries has partnered with Seminole R’Club to help spark a love of books and encourage reading as a family activity. As part of the BookWorks literacy program, Goodwill volunteers read to our youngest children and then presented each child with a storybook of their own to take home to share with their families. Goodwill also gifted the older R’Club children with a copy of the “Highlights” magazine to take home. Since early childhood literacy is linked to later employability, both BookWorks and R’Club support the mission of helping people achieve their full potential. Thanks to Seminole R’Club and Goodwill Industries for passing on a love of reading!
